The Cross and the Torah 6: Bad Arguments for Hebrew Roots: Abolish and Fulfill

What’s your favorite verse of the New Testament? If you subscribe to Torah Observance, I bet I can get it in three guesses.

My last video in The Cross and the Torah, that was focused on a bad argument, talked about the error of Hebrew Roots theology related to 1 John 3:4. In this video, I evaluate one argument based on Matthew 5:17.

It is said by many in the movement that, when Jesus said He did not come to abolish but fulfill, that we cannot see any kind of completion or ending in the word “fulfill” or we are just making it mean “abolish”. As you will see, this argument is based on false premises. Enjoy.
